Before using Top Dog’s services, an introductory visit will be necessary so that I can get to know you and your pets. This visit also allows me to get detailed information about caring for your pets and pick up the key to your home. At this appointment you will review and sign a contract agreement for my services.
The main objective of this visit is to familiarize myself with your pets so that they are totally comfortable with me in your absence.
Always confirm your reservations with me in person or on the phone. I cannot accept a message left as a reservation. This ensures that I won’t miss your message and your pets won’t be left alone.
A cancellation fee (1/2 of service) will apply if cancellation of service is not made within 24 hours.
There will be a $10 charge if a “last minute” booking is cancelled.
There will be a $10 delivery fee if Top Dog Pet Sitter needs to pick up supplies for your pet. Please remember to leave adequate (or more!) food, litter, leash, etc. for your pets needs
HOLIDAYS - There will be a flat $10 fee in addition to regular charge for services ON the following holidays: New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, & New Years Eve.
RETURN CHECK CHARGE - There is a $30 fee for each check that is returned by the client’s bank regardless of reason.
SECURED AREAS - It is the pet owner’s sole responsibility to pet-proof any areas of the home and/or property to which the pet has access. This includes thoroughly inspecting fences, gates, latches, doors and other devices meant to keep a pet inside of or away from any areas that the pet may be having access to. Top Dog Pet Sitter does not assume and has no liability for any injuries the pet may sustain while in its own home/property. ALL PETS MUST WEAR AN ID TAG OR BE MICROCHIPPED!
KEYS - if keys are not kept with TDPS a pickup/drop-off fee of $10 will be incurred. Failure to provide two keys will incur a $10 copying charge. Special rates are available for long term care or regular occurring services
