1. BulletBefore using Top Dog’s services, an introductory visit will be necessary so that we can get to know you and your pets.  This visit also allows us to get detailed information about caring for your pets and pick up the key to your home.  At this appointment you will review and sign a contract agreement for my services.



  1. Top Dog logoThe main objective of this visit is to familiarize ourselves with your pets so that they are totally comfortable with us in your absence. 



  1. Always confirm your reservations with us in person or on the phone.  We cannot accept a message left as a reservation.  This ensures that we won’t miss your message and your pets won’t be left alone.



  1. BulletAll cancellations must be received 24 hours in advance of the scheduled service in order to receive full refund or credit. If canceling less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure, TDPS retains the full amount of this deposit. No refunds will be given for canceled visits once time has been reserved. For holiday visits, cancellations must be received one week in advance.



  1. BulletThere is no charge to book last minute (under 24 hours) but no credits or refunds will be applied if the booking is cancelled. Payment for requested services will be due upon receipt. 



  1. BulletPlease remember to call upon your return from your trip. Otherwise, we will need to continue visiting to assure the safety and well being of your pet(s).

 


  1. BulletNo more than 24 hours can elapse between visits.  We cannot skip visits or come every other day.  This is to ensure that the animals are OK.  We will schedule visits based on the leaving and returning home date.   



  1. BulletOnly TDPS is allowed to care for your animals in your absence. Per our Insurance we are not allowed to share visits with family members/friends/neighbors at the same time.



  1. BulletMorning visits for dogs are sometime between the hours of 6 AM – 10 AM. Evening visits for dogs will be between 6 PM – 10 PM. Visits for dogs will be made approximately 12 hours apart. Cats will be visited approximately the same time each day depending on schedule. If there is a need to schedule specific times please discuss this with us.



  1. BulletThere will be a $10 delivery fee if TDPS needs to pick up supplies for your pet. Please remember to leave adequate (or more!) food, litter, etc for your pets needs.



  1. BulletHOLIDAYS- There will be a flat $10 fee in addition to regular charge for services ON the following holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.



  1. BulletRETURNED CHECK CHARGE- There is a $25 fee for each check that is returned by the client’s bank regardless of reason.


 

  1. BulletSECURED AREAS- It is the pet owner’s sole responsibility to pet-proof any areas of the home and/or property to which the pet has access. This includes thoroughly inspecting fences, gates, latches, doors and other devices meant to keep a pet inside of or away from any areas that the pet may be having access to. TDPS does not assume and has no liability for any injuries the pet may sustain while in its own home/property.



  1. BulletIn the event of personal emergency, illness, or injury regarding the pet sitter, another qualified individual will be scheduled to fulfill the responsibilities set forth in the service agreement.



  1. BulletKEYS - if keys are not kept with TDPS a pickup/drop-off fee of $10 will be incurred.  Failure to provide two keys will incur a $10 copying charge. Special rates are available for long term care or regular occurring services
